Andrij Samijlowytsch Malyschko ( Ukrainian Андрій Самійлович Малишко ; born 2 November jul. / 15. November  1912 greg. In Obukhiv , Kiev Governorate , Russian Empire ; † 17th February 1970 in Kiev , Ukrainian SSR ) was a Ukrainian poet, translator, literary critic and publicist. He was buried in the Baikowe Cemetery in Kiev .

Honors

Malyshko was awarded the Order of Lenin twice and in 1964 the Taras Shevchenko Prize . The Ukrainian National Bank issued a two hryvnia commemorative coin in 2003, and the Ukrainian Post issued a postage stamp with Malyshko's portrait in 2012.
