Andrzej Korzyński (born March 2, 1940 in Warsaw ) is a Polish composer .

Life

Andrzej Korzyński graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in 1965 . He studied composition and conducting with Kazimierz Sikorski, among others . Together with Mateusz Święcicki and Witold Pograniczny , he then founded the joint music studio Rytm . They produced several music albums. Korzyński then began composing film music in the late 1960s. Since the production of the film One Third of the Night (1971), he often worked with the Polish director Andrzej Żuławski until his death .

Korzyński is the father of the screenwriter Mikołaj Korzyński .
