Anette Støvelbæk (born July 27, 1967 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish actress .

Life

Born in Copenhagen, Støvelbæk grew up on the island of Amager .

Støvelbæk completed her training until 1997 at Gøglerskolen in Aarhus and the drama school of Odense Teater . Since the late 1990s she has appeared in Danish film and television productions. She took on her first major role in 2000 in Lone Scherfig's comedy Italian for Beginners , in which she played the clumsy bakery saleswoman Olympia . The role earned her nominations for Bodil for Best Actress and Robert for Best Actress .

At the same time, she appeared repeatedly at the theater, including at the Nørrebro Teater in Copenhagen , the London Hippodrome and the Betty Nansen Teatret .

She has been married to actor Lars Mikkelsen since 1989 , with whom she has two children.
