Angel Stojanow ( Bulgarian Ангел Стоянов ; born June 23, 1958 in Samokow ) is a former Bulgarian ski jumper .

Career

Stojanow made his international debut on December 30, 1979 in the opening competition of the Four Hills Tournament 1979/80 . He also made his debut in the ski jumping World Cup . Stoyanov did not manage to jump to the top positions during the entire tour. The best individual result was 70th place on the Great Olympic Hill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . In the overall ranking he reached 91st place.

After a few years international break, he started again internationally at the Four Hills Tournament 1983/84 . However, he could not convince again in any of the four competitions. Again he achieved the best result in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. At the end of the tour, he finished 83rd in the overall ranking.

Stojanow's last international tournament started at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo . From the normal hill he reached the 49 after jumps on 72.5 and 77 meters, which he repeated from the large hill with jumps on 82 and 77 meters.
