Mead Valley is located west of Riverside County , California , between Woodcrest and Perris . To the north are the two large cities of Riverside and Moreno Valley . With Lake Mathews and Lake Perris , two reservoirs are also not far away.

The 18,510 inhabitants of the municipality (as of the 2010 census ) live on an area of ​​approximately 49.6 km², which is made up entirely of land. Thus the population density is 372.8 inhabitants per square kilometer. The center of the village is at an altitude of 507 meters.
