East Hemet is a census-designated place (CDP) in Riverside County in the US state of California . In 2010 the place had 17,418 inhabitants. It is located outside the Hemet city ​​limits .

East Hemet is located west of Riverside County in the US state of California . The municipality borders on Hemet in the west and north , on Valle Vista in the northeast and otherwise exclusively on non- parish area. A little to the southwest is the Diamond Valley Lake . California State Route 74 forms the northern boundary of the town .
