Angela Haynes (born September 27, 1984 in Bellflower , California ) is a former American tennis player .

Career

Angela Haynes started playing tennis at the age of three and competed in tournaments when she was seven. In June 1999 she played her first ITF tournament. In total, she won two singles and eight doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit .

Her greatest successes in Grand Slam tournaments were in 2004 when she reached the third round of the singles competition at the US Open and the second round of the doubles competition at Wimbledon in 2008.

In June 2010 she played her last solo game on the ladies tour. After a three-year break, she appeared again in June and October 2013 at an ITF tournament in doubles, but failed in the opening round.
