Event

The event took place at Gollwitzer Erdeloch near Brandenburg an der Havel . The four participants lived there in a camp with tents and a fireplace. The fishing in particular was accompanied by two professional anglers, the influencers Claudia Darga and Aljosha "Joshinator" Fritzsche . According to Knossalla, there was a team of around 40 people behind the camp. They followed a model that resembled a reality show . There were also concerts , among others by Die Atzen and Sido . Games and challenges were held and several guests were there, including the SizzleBrothers , Fritz Meinecke , Klaus Grillt , Andreas Bourani , Tanzverbot , MontanaBlack , Kool Savas , Slavik , gynecologist and Pietro Lombardi . While the participants slept, two or more team members took over the moderation.

consequences

Since the practice of catching and releasing some fish led to visible injuries and immediate symptoms of stress, the animal welfare organization PETA announced in a press release on July 29, 2020 that it would file a complaint against all those involved on suspicion of animal cruelty and thus prevent future expenses . Knossalla himself denied the allegations and assured with regard to environmental protection that he "attaches great importance to it". The animal welfare organization was then accused of only pursuing the aim of attracting as much attention as possible with the measures.
