Ryan Hurd

Ryan James Hurd (born November 2, 1986 in Kalamazoo , Kalamazoo County , Michigan , United States ) is an American country singer .

Career

After moving to Nashville , he joined Universal Music Publishing in 2013 . He is also under contract with RMC Nashville and Big Machine Records Nashville.

Hurd wrote songs for Blake Shelton , Tim McGraw , Jake Owen , Rascal Flatts , Randy Houser , Darius Rucker and Brothers Osborne . Hurd wrote the song "Lonely Tonight" for Blake Shelton, which reached number one on Billboard's Country Airplay Chart in 2014.

Ryan released his first EP , "Panorama", in August 2015. "Love in a Bar", his first single that made it to number 50 on Billboard's Country Airplay Charts, was released in 2017. His most successful single "To a T" hit the # 42 on the Country Airplay Charts and # 40 on Billboard's Overall Country Charts.

Private

Hurd married Maren Morris , also a singer, in March 2018. On March 23, 2020 their first child, Hayes Andrew Hurd, was born.
