Angelika Wende

Angelika Wende , née Kallmayer (* 1959 in Kaiserslautern ) is a German television presenter , author , visual artist and speaker. The focus of her interest is the human psyche. Today she works mainly as a coach and speaking trainer.

Life

Wende studied German and literature at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz . After training as a speaker with Hans Müller-Trenk in Munich , she was one of the first presenters of the Munich station Pro 7 from 1989 to 1991, still under her family name Angelika Kallmayer . In 1991 she was poached from Pro 7 by the broadcasting director of ZDF Michael Sauer and switched to Lerchenberg in Mainz as a television announcer . She worked there for 13 years, including two years as a news anchor for ZDF today .

She was nominated for Raab der Woche , victim in Thomas Ohrner's Hidden Camera , played in the short film Liberation Day , was an off-speaker for Phoenix, ZDF and Arte, protagonist in commercials and host of Lotto on Wednesday . With their last announcement on April 30, 2000, the era of female television announcers on ZDF came to an end. By July 2003, the moderator found a new job as a lucky fairy . Alternating with Heike Maurer and Claudia Melters, she presented the NKL -Tagesmillion on ZDF.

After a serious car accident in February 2004, she withdrew from the public and trained as a psychological consultant at the Paracelsus School in Mainz. She studied homeopathic knowledge with her mentor Norbert Merz and devoted herself to writing and painting.

Since the end of 2011, the focus has been on working in the Wiesbaden practice as a coach and speaking trainer. She gives seminars on the subject of self-worth and self-realization and is a lecturer at the Wiesbaden Free Art School. In her blog Between Inside and Outside , she writes about the human psyche.

Wende lives and works in Wiesbaden .
