The Angererkopf is a 2,263 m high mountain peak in the Allgäu Alps .
Location and surroundings
It is located southeast of the Liechelkopf and southwest of the Mindelheimer Köpfl .
The gap height of the Angererkopf is at least 43 meters, its dominance 300 meters, with the Liechelkopf being the reference mountain in each case.
Ascent
There is no marked path leading to the Angererkopf. It can be reached without a path from the Mindelheimer Hütte into the Gemsteltal (difficulty I + ). The Angererkopf is very rarely climbed. All climbs require surefootedness and mountain experience. Due to the proximity of the Angererkopf to the Mindelheimer Hütte, the wall falls on the south side of the Angererkopf were the goal of sport climbers. Numerous difficult climbs were made here in the 1990s.
