Angoual Bayi (also: Oungoual Bayi ) is a district of Agadez in Niger .

Angoual Bayi is one of eleven historic area of the UNESCO World Heritage counting old town of Agadez , in the south it is. The adjacent old town quarters are Hougbéry in the northwest, Agar Garin Saka in the northeast, Oumourdan Nafala in the east and Katanga in the west.

Historically, Angoual Bayi was a slave camp. The population is subordinate to the Gonto von Angoual Bayi, a traditional mayor who acts as a middleman between the Sultan of Agadez and the residents.

The annual Mouloud celebration in honor of the Prophet Mohammed is celebrated in Agadez according to a constant scheme in different locations. The Larabawa Mosque in Angoual Bayi is one of the mosques where the celebrations begin on the evening of the first day of Mouloud.

At the 2012 census, Angoual Bayi had 1619 inhabitants who lived in 247 households. At the 2001 census, the population was 1,063 in 170 households, and at the 1988 census, the population was 1,213 in 187 households.
