Founé Imé (also: Fauné Imé , Founémey , Hounémé ) is a district of Agadez in Niger .

Foune IME is one of eleven historic area of the UNESCO World Heritage counting old town of Agadez , in the center of which it lies. The adjacent old town quarters are Amarewat in the north, Akanfaya in the east, Hougbéry in the south and Katanga in the west.

The place name comes from the Songhai language , means "small gate" or "gate" and refers to a side gate in the city fortifications. The population is subordinate to the Gonto von Founé Imé, a traditional mayor who acts as a middleman between the Sultan of Agadez and the residents.

At the 2012 census, Founé Imé had 1,259 inhabitants who lived in 207 households. At the 2001 census, the population was 1,324 in 211 households, and at the 1988 census, the population was 948 in 155 households.
