Animal Logic is an Australian company founded in 1991 that designs and produces visual effects for movies, television production, music videos, computer games and commercials.

The company started with effect design for TV programs and commercials, which has long been the company's core business.

Animal Logic has been part of Fox Studios since 1997 .

Film productions

Animal Logic began to take on more and more commissions for large commercial film projects in recent years. Examples include the films Matrix Reloaded , House of Flying Daggers , World Trade Center , Moulin Rouge , Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire , Stealth - Under the Radar and The Great Gatsby . They also produced more commercials for large companies like Nike , Adidas , Toyota and the environmental protection organization Greenpeace .

In 2002, work began on the first computer-animated cartoon Happy Feet for director George Miller and Warner Bros. Animal Logic were used for the realistic effects and scenarios. The film, which was released in the USA on November 17, 2006, ensured a significant expansion of the company to 300 artists and technicians outside of Australia. Happy Feet was the first digitally animated feature film to be produced in Australia . The film received an Oscar in 2007 in the category of best animated feature film .
