Anina Brisolla

Anina Brisolla (* 1976 in Hamburg ) is a German artist. She works with video and room installations, design, painting and drawing.

life and work

Anina Brisolla studied fine arts at the Academie voor Kunst en Industrie (AKI) in Enschede , Netherlands, and at the School of Visual Arts in New York . She lives and works in Berlin .

Her works create a transition from digital to analog art. She uses images from the Internet, which she transforms and reinterprets. It addresses the relationship between people, nature and space without depicting people. Her work has been shown at the SMAC in Berlin-Mitte , the Center for Contemporary Art -CCA Glasgow , the Berlin Radialsystem and the Kunsthalle Exnergasse at the WUK in Vienna.

The magazine Arch + published in 2018 under the topic "Property Issue - From the land question and new commons" Anina Brisollas multi-page "image essay" Prospect with a drawing from that series as a title page and a text by January Kage , who wrote: "The basis of her drawings are with Simulation software generated images of galaxies, stars and planets.
