Anina Diener

Anina Diener (* in Munich ) is a German production and costume designer . She works for the film industry as well as for events.

Life

Anina Diener grew up in Munich. After completing the French baccalaureate , she studied fine arts and art history in Dijon , France and London, England. Diener passed her journeyman's examination as a milliner in Berlin . She has lived in Berlin since 1987. In her work, Diener shows an affinity for the opulent, the staged and the historical.

Since her time as a costume assistant in the St. Bartholomew's Day by Patrice Chéreau , she developed her idea of authentic, yet interpretive historical features and costumes. The highlights of her work in the historical film were the set for Fräulein Stinnes travels around the world and the French film Michael Kohlhaas (costume). For the latter film, Diener reinterpreted medieval models with a modern approach.
