Anja Backhaus

Anja Backhaus (* 7. November 1975 in Göttingen ) is a German radio - and TV - presenter .

Life

Backhaus studied political science in Cologne and was a presenter at YouFM at Hessischer Rundfunk until 2004 , before switching to Westdeutscher Rundfunk and its station 1 Live . In this function she presented 10 years 1 Live on WDR television and, together with Olli Briesch, presented the “ 1 Live Krone ” award . She is currently moderating the radio station WDR 5 . In the first , she presented the magazine Tier Hoch Vier between 2004 and 2007 .

From 2006 to 2009 she was on VOX at the side of site manager Sascha Slechta as the presenter of the craftsmen's program Wohnen nach Wunsch - Das Haus . Backhaus has two sons.

Anja Backhaus has been a godmother for organic farming since 2006. Since November 2011 she has been one of the German ambassadors for the UN Decade of Biological Diversity .
