Anja Kuhr

Anja Kuhr (born June 7, 1955 in Hamburg ) is a former German politician ( GAL ). From 1986 to 1989 she was a member of the Hamburg parliament .

Live and act

Anja Kuhr studied history, Romance philology and international politics in Hamburg and Barcelona . From 1982 to 1984 she worked in the Gruner + Jahr press archive . She later worked as a culture editor.

Kuhr was involved in the anti-nuclear , women's and international solidarity movement. In 1983 she joined the GAL. For the parliamentary group of the Greens , she took part in various congresses and panel discussions. She headed the Federal Working Group on Internationalism , was a delegate in the Federal Main Committee and was a member of the state executive. In the state elections in Hamburg in 1986 , the GAL first drew up a list of all women to which Kuhr belonged. In November she moved into the 12th Hamburg citizenship . Her political work focused on economic and foreign policy, urban development and health policy. She was re-elected in the Hamburg state election in 1987 . In February 1989 she resigned from the citizenship due to the rotation that was customary in her party. In the same year she resigned from the GAL.
