Anke Westendorf (born February 26, 1954 in Schwerin , today Anke Maukel ) is a former German volleyball player .

Anke Westendorf has been a GDR national player 230 times . She took part in the Olympic Games twice, finishing sixth in Montreal in 1976 and winning the silver medal in Moscow in 1980 . Anke Westendorf played for SC Traktor Schwerin and was GDR champion and FDGB cup winner several times . They also won the 1975 UEFA Cup Winners 'Cup and the 1978 European Champion Clubs' Cup .

With her teammates, she was awarded the Patriotic Order of Merit in bronze in 1980 for winning the silver medal at the Olympic Games .
