Ann Haesebrouck

Ann Haesebrouck (born October 18, 1963 in Bruges ) is a former Belgian rower .

At the 1983 World Championships Ann Haesebrouck finished eighth in the single . At the 1984 Olympics , the World Champion took Jutta Hampe from the GDR and the Vice World Champion Irina Fetissowa from the Soviet Union boycott caused not participate. The Romanian Valeria Răcilă won ahead of the American Charlotte Geer , Ann Haesebrouck received the bronze medal.

At the Rowing World Championships in 1986 Ann Haesebrouck finished sixth in the single. A year later, she and Annelies Bredael finished seventh in a double scull at the 1987 World Championships . At the Olympic Games in 1988 Haesebrouck finished sixth with the Belgian double scull .

After a break of several years, Ann Haesebrouck returned to the regatta course for the 1992 Olympic Games . Together with Renée Govaert , Haesebrouck finished ninth in the double scull in her third Olympic participation .
