Ann Helen Grande

Ann Helen Grande (born September 20, 1977 in Trondheim ) is a former Norwegian biathlete .

Ann Helen Grande made her international debut in 1997 at the Junior World Championships in Forni Avoltri . Together with Linda Grubben and Gro Marit Istad-Kristiansen she won relay gold. In the following year she started in Pokljuka for the first time in the biathlon World Cup and immediately finished tenth in an individual. With that she achieved her best result in her very first race. In Antholz she was sixth two years later with the season. In 2001 she started for the first time in Haute-Maurienne at the European Championships and achieved eleventh place in the pursuit as the best placement. At the military world championships at the end of the season Grande was 15th in the sprint in Jericho . Since 2002, it has been used increasingly in the European Cup and won two races and came on the podium in another ten races. In 2003, Grande achieved her best result with the season as fourth. In Khanty-Mansiysk , she competed in her only biathlon world championships in the same year . In the sprint she was only 70th, with the relay eighth for Norwegian standards. In 2004 she ended her career.
