Anna Hoja (born March 25, 1992 in Iserlohn ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .
Career hall
Hoja comes from a sporty family. Her mother Ina (née Dittrich) played in the volleyball league for VC Schwerte and her father Ralf Hoja was a professional ice hockey player. Anna Hoja also began her career in Schwerte. After the club was relegated from the second division, she went to VC Essen-Borbeck . In 2007 the junior national player, who took part in the World Cup in Thailand, moved to USC Münster , where she attended the sports boarding school and initially played in the second team of the Bundesliga club. The outside attacker played at Bayer 04 Leverkusen from 2011 to 2014 . Then Hoja moved to the Bundesliga club VT Aurubis Hamburg . After the 2014/15 season , the Iserlohn native returned to Leverkusen. There she led the Bayer team as captain to the Northern Championship. In the following years, too, Hoja served in the Rhineland .
Career Beach
Hoja has also been playing beach volleyball since 2012, initially mostly at mid-range national tournaments with changing partners. In 2017 she moved to DJK TuSA 06 Düsseldorf with Stefanie Hüttermann and started with her mainly on the Smart Beach Tour . At the German championship in 2017 in Timmendorfer Strand , Hoja / Hüttermann took 13th place. In the following years they had only top ten results on the Techniker Beach Tour and qualified for the German championships in 2018 and 2019 .
