Stefanie Klatt (* 10. June 1985 in Oberhausen , as Stefanie Hüttermann ) is a German volleyball - and beach volleyball player and sports scientist and university lecturer .

Sports career

2011 in Düren

Stefanie Klatt started her volleyball career in 1993 at 1. VC Essen-Borbeck. From there she moved to the second division Alemannia Aachen in 2006 . After being promoted to the Bundesliga in 2008, she ended her indoor career.

In 1999 she played her first beach tournament. Her first partner was Mareike Müller. From 2002 she played with Joanna Domagala and was fourth in the German A-Youth Championship in 2004. With her new partner Julia Krumbeck, she finished seventh at the 2006 German championship in Timmendorfer Strand . From 2007 to 2008 she formed a duo with Ruth Flemig , her teammate at Alemannia Aachen. She won the title at the European Student Championship and was third in the German championship . From 2009 to 2011 Klatt played with Anni Schumacher , with whom she reached the round of 16 at the 2010 European Championships in Berlin , where she was eliminated from the later European champions Sara Goller and Laura Ludwig . Katharina Schillerwein was her partner from late 2011 to early 2013 . Due to an injury to Schillerein, Klatt played temporarily with Kim Behrens in 2012 . In 2013/2014 she played with Anne Matthes and in 2015/2016 with Lena Ottens . Anna Hoja Klatts has been a partner since 2017 , with whom she took part in the German championship for the eleventh time in 2019.

Stefanie Klatt lives in Cologne and works at the German Sport University , where she also did her doctorate in sport psychology in 2014. Stefanie Klatt has been Junior Professor for Attention Research in Sports Games at the Institute for Cognitive and Sports Game Research since 2016.

Stefanie Klatt received five awards for her scientific work and dissertation:
