Anna Margarete of Hessen-Homburg
Anna Margarete von Hessen-Homburg (born August 31, 1629 in Homburg before the height , † August 3, 1686 in Oberkotzau ) was a princess of Hessen-Homburg and by marriage Duchess of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Wiesenburg .
Life
She was the only daughter of Landgrave Friedrich I of Hessen-Homburg (1585–1638) from his marriage to Margarete Elisabeth (1604–1667), daughter of Count Christoph von Leiningen-Westerburg.
She married Duke Philipp Ludwig von Holstein-Wiesenburg (1620–1689) in Homburg on May 5, 1650 , who in 1663 acquired the office and castle of Wiesenburg .
In 1659 her godchild Johanna Eleonora von Merlau came to work , who later developed a separatist pietism as the wife of Johann Wilhelm Petersen . She also got to know Philipp Jacob Spener and Johann Jakob Schütz here and developed a deep friendship with Anna Margarete's daughter Sophie Elisabeth.
