Anna Maria Taigi
Anna Maria Taigi (born May 29, 1769 in Siena , Grand Duchy of Tuscany , † June 9, 1837 in Rome ) was a mystic and was beatified by the Catholic Church in 1920 .
Life
Anna Maria Taigi is best known for her mystical experiences, prophecies and visions and was an advisor to important people in Rome. On December 26, 1808, she entered the third order of the Trinitarians . That is why she is depicted in Christian iconography in the habit of this order.
A special feature of her visions is that she saw events of the past, but also of the future, on the disc of a thorn-crowned sun . My spiritual director was later canonized Passionist Vincenzo Maria Strambi . Anna Maria Taigi was born on May 30, 1920 by Pope Benedict XV. beatified. Your non-wester body is in a her consecrated chapel of the Basilica of San Crisogono buried. Her feast day is June 9th.
