Anna Rokita grew one in the daughter Austria -born Poland in Tirol on. She celebrated her first success with the bronze medal at the Austrian championships in 2001 in the all-around competition. In the same year she started at the all-around junior world championship in Groningen , where she reached 24th place. A year later in Renon, she reached 13th place. After three further starts at the Junior World Championships in 2003, 2004 and 2005 and the first Austrian championship title in 2003 in Innsbruck in the sprint, she started in 2005 for the first time at the European all- around championships in Heerenveen . Right away she reached 15th place. At the Winter Universiade 2005 in her home town Innsbruck, she won the silver medal over 5,000 meters. At the Olympic Games in Turin in 2006 she reached 16th place over the distance of 3,000 meters in a time of 4: 12.87. In the competition over 1,500 meters, the only 18-year-old Tyrolean finished with a time of 2: 02.19 minutes. the 27th place and over 5,000 meters she reached rank 12. In the same year Rokita started at the speed skating all- around world championship 2006 in Calgary and finished there in 22nd place. At the European speed skating all- around championships in Ritten in 2007 , she reached 15th place, just like a year earlier. In 2008 in Kolomna, she didn't get past 15th place.
