Annalea Hartmann (born April 17, 1965 in Berschis ) is a former Swiss beach volleyball player .

Career

Hartmann won the Swiss championship in 1992 with Silvia Meier . It was the first of five national titles that she had achieved with various partners by 2000. In 1996 she became champion with Margot Schläfli and played a world series tournament in Espinho . At the side of Denise Kölliker there was the next title and a third place at the Challenger tournament in Jona SG in 1998 . With Nicole Schnyder-Benoit she won two more gold medals in Switzerland. At the World Championships in Marseille , the Swiss took 41st place and at the European Championships in 1999 in Palma and 2000 in Getxo they were both ninth. In 2001, 2003 and 2004, Hartmann was runner-up three times at home. With Dorothea Hebeisen , she also made it to the final of the satellite tournament in Vaduz in 2005 . In 2006 she played several FIVB tournaments with Karin Trüssel . At the European Championships in The Hague , she was eliminated without winning a set.

After her active career, Hartmann worked as a trainer for the beach duo Grossen / Kayser and as a lecturer at the Institute for Sport at the University of Basel .
