Annalisa Ceresa (born March 17, 1978 in Ivrea ) is a former Italian ski racer . She specialized in the slalom discipline.

biography

As a 15-year-old Ceresa began to participate in FIS races , initially in all disciplines. From January 1996 she took part in the European Cup races. Her first victory in an FIS race was in December 1997. At the Junior World Championships , a sixth place was her best result in 1998. Ceresa made her debut in the World Cup on October 24, 1998 in Sölden , where she was unable to qualify for the second round in the giant slalom. In January 2000, she had to end the season prematurely due to an injury. After that she gradually began to concentrate on the discipline of slalom .

Ceresa won the first World Cup points on November 30, 2002 with 18th place in the slalom in Aspen . She qualified for the 2003 World Championship in St. Moritz , where she surprised with 11th place in the slalom. The best result in a World Cup slalom she achieved on February 29, 2004 with 7th place in Levi . On December 15, 2005 Ceresa celebrated the only victory in a European Cup slalom in Zoldo . She took part in the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin and finished 24th in slalom. On December 29, 2008, she was at the start of a World Cup slalom in Semmering for the last time and then resigned.
