Anne-Kathrin Gummich

Anne-Kathrin Gummich (* 1964 in East Berlin ) is a German actress , theater director and acting lecturer.

Life

From 1983 to 1987 Anne-Kathrin Gummich studied at the Leipzig Theater School and at the Dresden State Theater . In her senior year she took up a permanent engagement until 1999 at the New Theater Halle , where she also directed. Since 1989 Gummich has been working at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater in Leipzig (HMT). After her first directorial work at the so-called "summer theater", she has been working as an acting lecturer since 1999. From 2004 she held the office of deputy dean of studies and since 2005 she has been professor of acting at the HMT. In 2008 she became dean of Faculty II . Gummich is also a regular mentor for various academic years and continues to direct the summer theater days.

In addition, Gummich can show an extensive filmography that began in the late 1990s. In addition to guest roles in various series, including repeated with the SOKOs from Wismar and Leipzig , she played in the multiple award-winning films The Reader and The White Ribbon - A German Children's Story .

Anne-Kathrin Gummich is in a relationship with her fellow actor Hendrik Duryn , her daughter Nina from a previous relationship also works as an actress.
