Anne Bauchens

Anne Bauchens (born February 2, 1882 in St. Louis , Missouri , USA , † May 7, 1967 in Woodland Hills , California , USA ) was an American film editor .

Life

Anne Bauchens was Cecil B. DeMille's preferred editor, who worked on each of DeMille's films from 1915 to 1956. Her oeuvre comprises a total of 63 productions.

She herself was nominated four times for the Oscar in the category Best Editing , in 1941 she won the award for the film Die Scharlachroten Reiter (North West Mounted Police) .
