Anne de Borman
Anne Christine de Borman (born February 3, 1881 in Sint-Joost-ten-Node as Anne de Selliers de Moranville , † September 30, 1962 in Limal , now the province of Walloon Brabant ) was a Belgian tennis player .
Life
Anne de Selliers de Moranville married the tennis player Paul de Borman in 1908 . Both were members of the Royal Léopold Club . She won the Belgian championships four times in singles and four times.
In 1920 she took part in the Olympic Games in Antwerp , but was eliminated in singles, doubles and mixed competitions after the first game. At the Olympic Games in Paris in 1924, she competed again at the age of 43, but was again unable to win a medal. In the singles she failed in the second round against the Briton Kathleen McKane Godfree , in the mixed with Joseph Halot also in the second round.
De Borman died in 1962 at the age of 81.
