Annedore Richter (born November 14, 1948 in Münster ) is a former German volleyball player and coach.

Career

Annedore Richter played volleyball at USC Münster in the 1960s and 1970s . Here she won the German Cup four times and won the German Championship in 1974 . In 1972 she took part with the German national volleyball team at the Olympic Games in Munich , where she finished eighth. After a four-month guest appearance in the summer of 1975 in the US professional team "Santa Barbara Spikers", she was initially banned for life by the DVV after her comeback in Münster in 1977/78 . The judgment was overturned by the Münster Regional Court in 1979. Later she was the coach of the Bundesliga women from SW Elmschenhagen Kiel and from USC Münster.

Private

Annedore Richter lives in Münster and is active as a tennis player today.
