Annegret Maria Kon

Annegret Maria Kon (* 1978 in Blieskastel ) is a German sculptor .

life and work

Annegret Maria Kon studied figurative sculpture at the University of the Arts in Bremen (HfK Bremen). In 2007/2008 she was a master student of Professor Bernd Altenstein . Since 2005 she has repeatedly taken part in the stone carving symposia held as part of the International Summer Academy for Fine Arts Salzburg at Untersberg near Salzburg in Austria . In 2005 she worked during a one-month study visit to Cape Town , South Africa .

Kon has been working at the Scuola di Scultura di Peccia sculpture school in Peccia in the canton of Ticino , Switzerland , since 2009 .

Exhibitions

Kon's sculptures , especially her half-life-size ceramic figures, have been exhibited in Bremen, Oldenburg (Oldenburg) , Herne and Sarajevo ( Bosnia and Herzegovina ) , among others . In 2012 her works were part of the group exhibition Finding Pictures at the Marburger Kunstverein .
