Annette Dorgerloh

Annette Dorgerloh (born Annette Hüllmann ; * 1961 in Magdeburg ) is a German art historian .

Live and act

Annette Dorgerloh studied art history, classical archeology and cultural theory at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin from 1982 and graduated in 1987 . She then worked until 1991 as a research assistant at the Institute for Aesthetics and Art Studies at the Academy of Sciences of the GDR . From 1992 to 1996 she was employed in the Academic Integration Program and from 1994 to 1996 she was a research assistant at the Art History Institute of the Humboldt University in Berlin. In 1996, she was with a thesis on the artist couple Sabine Lepsius and Reinhold Lepsius Dr. phil. PhD .

From 1997 she was a research assistant at the Chair of Architecture and Urban Development at the Art History Department of the Humboldt University in Berlin and from 2003 she was a research assistant at the Art History Department of the Humboldt University. Since 2005 she has been working in the Collaborative Research Center “Transformations of Antiquity”, where in 2013 she was the head of the sub-project “Moving Spaces. Scenography of Antiquity in Film ”. From 1997 to 2006 she was co-editor of the Critical Reports - Journal for Art and Cultural Studies .

Annette Dorgerloh completed her habilitation in 2008 with the work strategies of survival. The grave and memorial in the early German landscape garden .

At the Institute for Art and Visual History at the Humboldt University in Berlin, she is in charge of the research project Playrooms, funded by the Volkswagen Foundation in cooperation with the Filmmuseum Potsdam . Production designer and designer in the film city of Babelsberg.
