Annette Raffalt
Annette Raffalt , b. Hartmann (* in Dingden / Hamminkeln ) is a German theater director . Until 2016, she and her husband Peter Raffalt directed the Junge Burg at the Vienna Burgtheater . Annette Raffalt lives in Vienna.
Life
Annette Hartmann studied acting in Stuttgart. During this time she decided to become a director. In 1988 she moved to Trier with her family . There she directed in the independent scene (she was a member of the group Dukes Oak) and at the same time worked on theater productions with children and young people.
Raffalt's brother Matthias Hartmann brought her to the Schauspielhaus Bochum in 2000 , where she built up and directed the Junge Schauspielhaus Bochum until 2005 . In addition to numerous projects with children and young people, she staged plays for young people in the theater and in the Kammerspiele with actors from the ensemble. In 2005 Annette Raffalt went to Zurich and also built the Junge Schauspielhaus there, which she directed until 2009. At the Schauspielhaus Zurich , she staged either in the Pfauen or in the theater of the Junge Schauspielhaus in Hall 3. In 2009, together with her husband Peter Raffalt, she founded the Junge Burg , a division for children and youth theater at the Burgtheater in Vienna. Particularly noteworthy productions were The Wizard of Oz with Udo Samel as the magician and Peter Pan with Mavie Hörbiger as Tinkerbell.
Annette Raffalt and her husband Peter have two children.
