Annika Taylor (born June 4, 1993 in Truckee ) is a British cross-country skier .

Career

Taylor, who starts for the Lillehammer Ski Club, competed in Soldier Hollow for the first time on the US Super Tour in January 2014 and came in 31st place over 10 km classic. At the U23 World Championships in 2014 in Fiemme Valley , she took 44th place in sprint, 40th place over 10 km classic and 35th place in skiathlon . In February 2015 she achieved her first podium finish in the US Super Tour with second place in the 10 km freestyle in Craftsbury . Her first World Cup races took place at the beginning of the 2015/16 season on the World Cup Mini Tour in Ruka , which she finished in 62nd place. At the U23 World Championships in 2016 in Rasnov , she achieved 36th place in sprint, 34th place over 10 km classic and 30th place over 10 km freestyle. She finished the Ski Tour Canada 2016 in 42nd place. In the following year, at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti, she took 58th place over 10 km classic, 41st place in the skiathlon and 38th place in both sprint and 30 km mass start races. In March 2017 she came in 47th place at the World Cup final in Québec . At the Norwegian Championships in 2017, she was second with the relay. The following year she ran at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang on the 75th place over 10 km freestyle and on the 60th place in the skiathlon. At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2019 in Seefeld in Tirol , she finished 58th place over 10 km classic, 53rd place in the sprint and 16th place together with Nichole Bathe in the team sprint.
