Another Valley On The Long Decline is the second music album by the German indie rock band Speed ​​Niggs . It was released in the summer of 1990.

classification

The album is a seamless continuation of its predecessor Boston Beigel Yeah! , the Speed ​​Niggs' debut album. Another Valley starts with the Neil Young classic Mr. Soul . Evan Dando from the American band The Lemonheads can be heard as a guest singer in the following Paint It Sweet . Toys In The Deep Freeze was published around the same time on the sampler Geräusche for the 90s compiled by Alfred Hilsberg .

With this album the Speed ​​Niggs cemented their reputation as a German indie guitar band with American characteristics. Overall, Another Valley sounds more uninspired than its predecessor and was accordingly cautiously received by the critics. The mood is darker, the songs, apart from the highlight Paint It Sweet , are much weaker and less creative.
