Ansbach is a district of Roden in the Main-Spessart district in Bavaria .

history

Ansbach was first mentioned in 1279 as Osbach and belonged to the Neustadt am Main monastery . In 1630 Ansbach died out from the plague and famine, with the exception of five people . On June 1, 1976, the independent communities of Roden and Ansbach merged to form the new community of Roden.
