Anselm Weidner

Anselm Weidner (* 1943 in Halle (Saale) ) is a German journalist and radio author.

Life

Weidner studied law, education and philosophy in Berlin, Kiel , Frankfurt am Main and London . He worked as a lawyer, social researcher, college teacher and therapist. He has been writing for radio since 1988 . In 1999 and 2000 he received the Civis Prize and in 2001 the Journalist Prize of the Märkisches Wirtschafts- and Presseclub. In 2002 he initiated the Participatory Budgeting Working Group in Berlin .

Weidner lives and works in Berlin .
