Ansgar Lange

Ansgar Lange (born February 14, 1971 in Arnsberg ) is a German journalist and CDU functionary.

Life

Long grew up in the Sauerland . He studied political science , history and German in Bonn with a master's degree . During his studies he worked as a freelancer for the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Eichholz Castle . He later wrote for various print media, worked for a PR agency for five years and for some time was press spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group in the Wuppertal City Council . He was editor-in-chief of Criticón magazine , which was renamed Neue Nachrichten in 2005 . He writes for various newspapers and magazines, including the PT-Magazin , the Junge Freiheit , the Huffington Post as well as in the blogs peculiarly free , The Free World , Compact and The New Order on cultural, political and economic topics. He also works as a journalist for the Austrian weekly newspaper " Die Furche ", the opinion and debate magazine " The European " and the daily post .

Lange is Catholic and has been the CDU parliamentary group leader in the Remscheid City Council since 2009 .
