Ante Jozić (born January 16, 1967 in Trilj , Socialist Republic of Croatia ) is a Croatian clergyman , diplomat of the Holy See and appointed Roman Catholic Archbishop .

Life

Ante Jozić received on 28 June 1992, the sacrament of the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Split-Makarska .

After his ordination he obtained a degree in both civil and canon law . On July 1, 1999, he entered the diplomatic service of the Holy See. He was employed in the nunciatures in India, Russia and the Philippines, most recently with the rank of nunciatura.

On February 2, 2019 it appointed Pope Francis to Titular Archbishop of Cissa and apostolic nuncio in the Republic of Ivory Coast . Because of injuries caused by a car accident, his episcopal ordination was postponed and his appointment as nuncio in the Republic of Ivory Coast was also canceled in October 2019.

On May 21, 2020, Pope Francis appointed him Apostolic Nuncio in Belarus .
