Anthemis tomentella is a plant from the genus of Anthemis ( Anthemis ) in the family of Compositae (Asteraceae).

features

Anthemis tomentella is an annual stem therophyte that reaches heights of 2 to 14 centimeters. Ray florets are absent. The pappus is present. The crown is saucer-shaped, wavy and opaque. The outer fruits are cylindrical, 2.5 to 5 millimeters in size, more or less warty and persistent.

The flowering period extends from March to May.

The number of chromosomes is 2n = 18.

Occurrence

Anthemis tomentella is endemic to Crete in the Lasithi regional unit . The species grows in crevices and rubble on limestone at altitudes from 0 to 1450 meters.
