Anthony Flanagan

Anthony Flanagan (born April 11, 1972 in Stockport , Greater Manchester , England ) is a British actor .

Life

At first Flanagan wanted to apply as an RAF pilot, but did not get the job. A friend of his sister's studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art . This is how Flanagan became interested in acting. Ten years later, Flanagan attended drama school. In 2001 he appeared in the play A Russian in the Woods . From 2004 to 2006 he played the police officer Tony in the television series Shameless . In 2006 he starred as the lead role Kenny Archer in the television film For All Cases Fitz - Nine Eleven . In 2007 Flanagan portrayed Orin Scannell in Doctor Who . Since 2013, he has played the leading role Arnold Hankin in the British television series The Village .
