societies

In his youth, Jung played for several clubs in Wiesbaden. In 2005 he moved to Eintracht Frankfurt , where he went through all other youth departments. From 2010 he was in the squad of the second team of Eintracht, where he was a regular player in the Regionalliga. In January 2012, Eintracht coach Armin Veh took him to the professional training camp in Qatar. After the 2011/12 season he moved to FSV Frankfurt on a free transfer , where he received a one-year contract with an option for another year. On the first day of the 2012/13 season he played his first professional game in a 1-1 draw against SV Sandhausen .

For the 2013/14 season, Jung moved free of charge to third division promoted RB Leipzig and received a three-year contract there until June 30, 2016. Previously, his new contract with MSV Duisburg had become invalid after a forced relegation. In 2015, Jung extended his contract with RB Leipzig until 2019.

For the 2016/17 season, Jung was loaned to FC Ingolstadt 04 . There he made his debut in the First Bundesliga in the 1: 2 home defeat against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim on matchday 6. Jung scored his first goal in the First Bundesliga on matchday 12 in a 1-1 draw against VfL Wolfsburg .

After the relegation of Ingolstadt, the actual transfer did not take place, which is why Jung returned to the Leipzig team to start training for the 2017/18 season. In mid-July he finally moved to the Danish first division club Brøndby IF on loan . He made his debut for the Danes on matchday two in the 3-2 defeat against FC Nordsjælland . In total, Jung made 29 league appearances in the 2017/18 season under German coach Alexander Zorniger , under whom he had already played in Leipzig , in which he scored a goal. For the 2018/19 season , Brøndby IF acquired the transfer rights to Jung and provided him with a contract that runs until June 30, 2021.
