Antioco Piseddu (born September 17, 1936 in Senorbì , province of Cagliari ) is an Italian clergyman and bishop emeritus of Lanusei .

Life

Antioco Piseddu was ordained a priest for the diocese of Ilhéus on June 29, 1960 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Ogliastra on September 29, 1981. The episcopal ordination donated him to the Cardinal Prefect of the Congregation for Bishops , Sebastiano Cardinal Baggio , the same year on November 8; Co- consecrators were Paolo Carta , Archbishop of Sassari , and Pier Giuliano Tiddia , Auxiliary Bishop in Cagliari .

On September 30, 1986 the diocese of Ogliastra was renamed the Diocese of Lanusei.

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on January 31, 2014.
