Salvatore Delogu

Salvatore Delogu (born January 8, 1915 in Bitti ; † June 13, 2001 in Rome ) was Roman Catholic Bishop of Valva e Sulmona .

Life

Salvatore Delogu was ordained a priest on June 16, 1940 .

Paul VI appointed him on April 15, 1972 auxiliary bishop in Cagliari and titular bishop of Cannae . The Archbishop of Cagliari , Cardinal Sebastiano Baggio , consecrated him bishop on June 11 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Paolo Carta , Archbishop of Sassari , and Cándido Genaro Rubiolo , Bishop of Nuoro .

The Pope appointed him Bishop of Ogliastra on February 2, 1974 . John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Valva e Sulmona on January 8, 1981 . He resigned from his office on May 25, 1985.
