Bitti ("bitta" means "doe" in Sardinian ) is a place with 2735 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Nuoro in the Italian region of Sardinia , which is on the edge of the plateau of the same name.

Bitti is 37 km north of Nuoro .

The neighboring communities are: Alà dei Sardi ( OT ), Buddusò ( OT ), Lodè , Lula , Nule ( SS ), Onani , Orune , Osidda and Padru ( OT ).
