Geography and traffic

Dorgali is located at about 400 m on the western slope of Monte Bardia, which separates it from the sea.

At the lowest point of the ridge between Monte Bardia and the more southern Monte Tului, a modern road tunnel and, further up, an old tunnel crosses the mountain. They connect Dorgali with the district of Cala Gonone . Located directly on the Tyrrhenian Sea , Cala Gonone is a popular starting point for tours to countless bays on the Golfo di Orosei .
