Belvi-Aritzo train station

Belvì is a municipality in the province of Nuoro in the Italian region of Sardinia with 577 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019).

Belvì is 63 km south of Nuoro . Belvì has a station on the narrow-gauge Isili – Sorgono line , which is served by Trenino Verde in the summer months .

The neighboring communities are: Aritzo , Atzara , Desulo , Meana Sardo , Sorgono and Tonara .

• In 1980, a group of friends of nature, led by Professor Friedrich Reichsgraf von Hartig, an internationally renowned scientist for entomology and ecology , founded the "Friends of the Museum" and the Museum of Natural Sciences . The museum collection includes a paleontological section, mineralogical section, fauna section , entomological section and herpetological section.
