Villagrande Strisaili is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 3085 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Nuoro in Sardinia . The municipality is located about 13.5 kilometers northwest of Tortolì and about 9 kilometers north-northwest of Lanusei near Lake Alto Flumendosa . Villagrande Strisaili is part of the Parco nazionale del Golfo di Orosei e del Gennargentu .

Nearby is the nuragic settlement ( Italian Villaggio nuragico ) S'Arcu e is Forros and Sa Carcaredda and the giant tombs Pradu Su Chiai and Troculu .
